ROSAMUND FOWLER - BIOGRAPHY

Rosamund Fowler was born in Edinburgh in 1963. She trained at Edinburgh College of Art and graduated in 1985 with a BA Hons in Illustration and Design.
For over 20 years she worked as a freelance illustrator, producing illustrations for all areas of the industry, including advertising, corporate design, newspapers, magazines and books. In addition to illustration, Rosamund has produced larger scale oil paintings, using multiple glazes of colour which give the painting a rich lustre and luminous quality.
In recent years she has specialised in wood engraving and printmaking, and is a selected member of the Society Of Wood Engravers, and also of The Sussex Guild (designer makers of contemporary and traditional crafts), with whom she regularly exhibits.
Rosamund lives and works in the South Downs, West Sussex.
